Another beautiful, but also very, very long, read by Kate Morton.
I’ve said it before and I will continue to say it, Morton is a breath taking writer. She is able to create such a beautifully written story with so much depth and detail that you can’t help but get lost in the world she creates.
Her characters are not perfect and don’t hide their flaws, making them incredibly relatable to moments in your own life.
While enjoyable, Homecoming also falls victim to having slow pace but is a great weekend read that goes nicely with a cup of tea and cosy blanket.
I will continue to add Morton’s books to my to read list so I can get lost in her vibrant words.
